Motorcycle Drawstring Bag

A loves motorcycles. He knows that you use your foot to kick start it, use your hand to pull back on the throttle & has multiple noises for motorcycles. Because of this obsession he has a ton of toy motorcycles that he insists on carrying around all over. When he knows where all of them are, this can be frustrating because there are more motorcycles than the small hands of a 2 year old can handle.
I decided to ask my mother-in-law if she had any fabric left from the cute motocross quilt she made him for Christmas so I could make him a drawstring backpack to hold them in.

Here is the result. I think it turned out pretty cute!

Now he can carry them everywhere he goes! (Sorry about the sideways pic. I couldn't get it to rotate!)

"Cardigan"

I had fun experimenting with an old T-shirt from my closet. I cut off the sleeves & cut it down the middle. Then I added the ruffles to the middle & flowers to the top. Now that it's been a little bit the flowers are curling in so I need to add some more. The tutorial for the "cardigan" is on shannonmakesstuff.blogspot.com & the tutorial for the flowers is here at Tea Rose Home.

Wallet

I made a wallet out of this funky fabric. I loved the bright colors of the fabric! Couldn't get enough of it actually :)
I got the pattern from a friend. She bought it at a quilting shop. Fun!
